What is Cinetree?
Cinetree is a film platform and community that curates meaningful movies and documentaries, aiming to inspire reflection and connection through storytelling.
This beautiful company hired me in 2024 as a content intern and video editor. Since then, I have become part of the family and have the task to edit all their content for social media and the website.
Ziggo Dome & hoog catharijne
When Cinetree collaborated with VodafoneZiggo in February 2025, it opened up a lot of opportunities for our team. Together with Rik ten Zweege, we edited the advertisement that got shown on the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and on the big screen at Hoog Catharijne in Utrecht!
Curator Videos
Cinetree invites people from the film industry to curate their films. These curators will go to our office and tell us everything they loved about the film they curated. One of my favorite ones that I got to to edit was this one, Kendrick Etmon talking about Nowhere Special.
During the winter holidays, we decided to only invite curators that were part of Cinetree. So I got to talk about a film I really liked together with my colleague, Luc. I also had the honor to edit my own video which was both fun and also a bit strange.
Tomorrow Filmfestival
Tomorrow Film Festival is Cinetree’s annual event that celebrates hopeful, impactful films and stories about climate change and sustainability. I had the honor to edit the trailer and aftermovie for 2024’s edition together with my favorite edit partner, Rik ten Zweege.
